Lease-to-own

SNAP Finance

SNAP looks at more than your credit score, so it's worth applying even if your credit isn't perfect. Approval isn't guaranteed.

  • Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments
  • Your payment schedule and total cost are shown before you sign
  • Early payoff options; ask SNAP for the details of your agreement

Lease-to-own

Acima

Acima buys the item and leases it to you. You make lease payments on a schedule that matches your payday, and you own it at the end of the lease, or sooner with an early purchase option. Perfect credit isn't required.

  • To apply, you need an active checking account, steady income and a government-issued photo ID
  • Buy it out early to pay less: the sooner you buy, the more you save
  • Lease-to-own is not a loan; paying over the full term costs more than the cash price

Credit financing

Synchrony

A credit account from Synchrony Bank for qualifying purchases. Subject to credit approval.

  • Ask about the promotional financing offers available when you buy
  • Minimum monthly payments required
  • A good fit if you have established credit
  • Apply in store in a few minutes

SNAP Finance, Acima and Synchrony Bank are separate companies from Mattress Discount Plus. Each sets its own approval criteria, terms and costs, and approval isn't guaranteed. Lease-to-own through SNAP or Acima is not a loan or credit; paying over the full lease term costs more than the cash price. Synchrony financing is subject to credit approval.

How Financing Works

The same four steps for every option:

1

2

Apply in Minutes

Apply in store or by phone, or online for SNAP. We will help you choose the option that fits.

3

Get a Decision

The provider reviews your application and shows you your approval, payment schedule and terms before you sign.

4

Financing FAQ

Which financing option should I choose?

If your credit isn't perfect, start with SNAP or Acima lease-to-own. If you have established credit, ask about Synchrony and the promotional financing available when you buy. Our team can help you compare them in store.

What do I need to apply?

Bring a government-issued photo ID. Acima also asks for an active checking account and steady income. Each provider tells you what it needs during the application.

Will I know my terms before I sign?

Yes. Each provider shows you your approval, payment schedule and total cost before you sign, and our team can walk you through it.

Can I pay off early?

SNAP offers early payoff options, and Acima offers an early purchase option that lowers your total cost. With Synchrony you can pay your balance at any time. Check your agreement for the details.

Does financing cover more than the mattress?

Yes. You can use your approval on a mattress, adjustable base, pillows, protectors and other accessories, up to the amount the provider approves.

Is lease-to-own the same as a loan?

No. With SNAP or Acima, the provider buys the item and leases it to you, and you own it after your final payment or an early buyout. Paying over the full term costs more than the cash price. Synchrony is credit financing, subject to credit approval.

What if I'm not approved?

Ask us about the other options. Each provider makes its own decision, so a decline from one doesn't decide the others.
